Project Type: Municipal infrastructure
Location: Uxbridge, Massachusetts
Documentation: Aerial mapping, photography & video
Capture Dates: February 17 & July 8, 2026
Role: Independent documentation study
Repeat Aerial Site Comparison
Construction progress can be difficult to understand through isolated photographs alone. For this independent field study, we used repeat aerial capture to document visible changes in the site’s layout, building footprint, work areas, access, and surrounding conditions between winter and summer.
This before-and-after slider shows how repeat aerial orthomosaics can make site activity, layout, access, and visible progress easier to understand over time. These images were captured during separate flights in different seasons, then cropped and aligned for a clear visual comparison.

What this demonstrates:
- Repeatable top-down documentation of site conditions
- Clear comparison across project stages
- Useful context for owners, teams, and stakeholders
- A visual record that can support progress updates over time
Important limitations:
- Not a survey-grade or certified mapping product
- Not intended for engineering, boundary, or as-built use
- Not intended for precision volumetric or change-detection analysis
- Not a perfectly matched capture, since the original flights used different aircraft and methods
Additional Site Views
Selected aerial images from the summer capture provide wider context around access, layout, and site conditions.
Aerial Site Video
These short drone passes provide a clearer sense of the site’s scale, layout, access, and surrounding conditions.
Center Orbit
A continuous aerial orbit showing the Public Works site, surrounding infrastructure, access roads, and overall layout.
Straight Flyover
A direct aerial pass across the site, providing a clear view of the major structures, work areas, and surrounding conditions.
A Record You Can Use
Together, these visuals help municipalities, contractors, engineers, and project partners see progress at a glance and build a clear record over the life of a project.
The same material can support progress updates, reporting, stakeholder communication, presentations, and public outreach - giving each site visit value beyond the day it was captured.
